LaunchPad

Your new tab, organised.

Unlimited shortcuts and groups, free forever. Plus a focus system that keeps you honest about where your time actually goes.

No account. No sign-in. Nothing leaves your machine.

The LaunchPad new tab: shortcuts sorted into Daily, Build and Reading groups over a sunset wallpaper, with a search bar above them and a focus session counting down in the top corner.

What it does

The dashboard is free and stays free. Pro adds the focus system on top.

Free forever

Shortcuts and groups

Unlimited shortcuts, sorted into groups you name. Drag to reorder, import your bookmarks in one click, search with your own engine.

Pro

Focus sessions

A timer attached to the task you're actually on, not a generic countdown. Optional desktop notifications, and a gentle chime at each break.

Pro

Focus blocking

During a session, sites you've listed get a calm reminder page instead of your attention. No red, no lecture. Snooze it or end the session anytime.

Pro

Time insights

Thirty days of deep-work stretches, time by tag and site, your top tasks, measured automatically and stored locally.

Pro

Tasks and goals

Daily, weekly and monthly goals, with tasks and tags underneath. Your active task rides along on the new tab so you don't lose the thread.

Pro

Achievements

Quiet recognition for streaks and follow-through. It notices when you show up; it doesn't nag you when you don't.

See it working

Three of the Pro surfaces. Screenshots of the running extension, not mockups.

The LaunchPad Dashboard: tiles reading 1h38m focused today, 3 tasks completed and 16 distractions blocked, above a card offering to resume the task Ship the launch announcement, with goals, a 26-day focus streak and a due-today list beside it.
Pro

The cockpit

The Dashboard opens on where you stand: hours focused today, tasks completed, distractions blocked, and the one thing to pick back up. Goals, streak and today's list sit next to it rather than in a separate app.

The focus blocking page: a mostly empty dark screen reading "youtube.com is blocked" in soft green, with the line "3 minutes focused on Ship the launch announcement" and two buttons, 5 more minutes and End focus session.
Pro

When you're focusing

A site you listed gets this instead, and only while a session is running. Soft green, no alarm, no lecture. Both ways out are one click. Outside a session it never appears at all.

The Insights page: 12h1m over the last 7 days, a bar chart of deep work per day for 30 days, and a donut totalling 49h6m split by tag across launch-v2-0, grow-to-1k and untagged.
Pro

Where the time went

Thirty days of deep-work stretches, time by tag, time by site, and the tasks that actually ate the hours. Measured while you work, with nothing to fill in. It never leaves your browser.

Privacy

Nothing leaves your machine.

Your shortcuts, groups, tasks, goals and tracked time live in your browser's own storage. There is no LaunchPad server to send them to. No account, no sign-in, no sync, no telemetry: this is how the extension is built, not a policy we promise to keep.

This website runs no analytics either. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Cloudflare Insights, no beacon of any kind, and no external fonts or CDNs. Every byte on this page came from this domain. That matters here specifically: the page you land on after paying receives your license key, and nothing is listening.

The privacy policy lists every permission and what it is for.

Questions

What is LaunchPad?

A Chrome extension that replaces the default new tab with a dashboard you control. Free covers unlimited shortcuts, groups, drag-and-drop, search, bookmark import, history and wallpapers. Pro adds a focus system on top: focus sessions, gentle site blocking while you focus, automatic time insights, tasks and goals, and achievements.

What does the free tier actually include?

The whole dashboard, with no shortcut limit and no card. It is not a trial and it does not expire. Pro is an additional layer, not a paywall dropped over things that used to be free.

How does the free trial work?

You start it from Pro Settings inside the extension, not from this site. It runs for 7 days, needs no card and no account, and makes no network call; the window is written to your own browser storage. One trial per install. When it ends you drop back to free; your Pro data isn't deleted, it just waits until you subscribe.

What does the site blocking do, exactly?

Only while a focus session is running, and only for sites you have listed yourself. Those sites get a quiet reminder page instead of loading: no red, no alarm, no lecture. You can snooze it or end the session from that page. Outside a session it does nothing at all.

How is my privacy handled?

Everything stays in your browser's local storage. There is no LaunchPad server, no analytics, and no tracking, in the extension or on this website. The one exception is license validation: if you buy Pro, the extension sends your license key, and only the key, to Dodo Payments about once a day to confirm it is still active. The privacy policy lists every permission and what it is for.

What payment methods are accepted?

All major credit and debit cards, processed by Dodo Payments as our Merchant of Record. Dodo handles tax compliance across 220+ countries and your card details never touch LaunchPad. Your license key is issued by Dodo and checked from inside the extension.
